The museum trail ends as it began – outdoors, as one visits the indigenous Tournefortia argentea garden which hold several species of terrestrial tortoises. Do not miss a visit to the top of the former lime furnace which affords a panoramic view over the bay and the St Leu lagoon. One can see that Kelonia is placed in the heart of the beautiful west coast of Reunion enjoying almost uninterrupted sunshine throughout the year.
