The multi-disciplinary scientific missions
in which Kelonia participates highlight
the presence of exceptional natural milieus
and the grand biological diversity of the
south-west Indian Ocean.
The observatory has established local
and international partnerships with other teams
and institutions. The goal is to increase
our knowledge of the biology of these migratory
species whose life cycles are divided over
an area much more vast than just the waters
surrounding Reunion Island.
